(While this worked for efernandez_98 many others are having issues getting it to work properly. Please remember to read the comments in the related thread before attempting this yourself. If you have bought this cable from Pacific Custom Cable Inc. and it doesn't work then you can get a refund)

As many of you know the ATi All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro and other AIW cards do not come with dual VGA output like the Radeon 9700 series. In fact, ATi does not advertise the ability to use multiple computer monitors with the AIW 9700 Pro. But as some of you know, I've been tinkering with the idea of using a DVI-I splitter with the AIW 9700 Pro to see if the DVI-I output supported multiple monitors, just like the Matrox Parhelia. So, I got one. Pictured below is the DVI-I splitter that I purchased from Pacific Custom Cable Inc for $49.00. The cable has a DVI-I Male end that splits into two ends; one with a VGA HD15 female connector, and the other has a DVI-D female connector.

I have a 17" Viewsonic GA771 CRT (Model #: VCDT521368) with an analog input and a Viewsonic 15" VX500T LCD which has a TV tuner (Model #: VLCDS22825-2) with both digital and analog inputs. So, I tested each monitor with the cable to ensure that separately they were supported by the new cable. Once I confirmed their functionality individually, I decided to try using them both at the same time. At first, I was hesitant because only one of the monitors lit up. However, after adjusting the settings in the ATi's Display tab of the advance display, it allowed me to clone the displays. This was a nice assurance that it worked; however, I was looking to extend my Windows Desktop across both monitors. And, after enabling the option in the main display control panel I was pleasantly surprised.

UPDATE: If the digital monitor doesn't display a picture, or isn't able to extend the desktop across the two monitors, then the DCC Data (pin# 12) from the HD15 connector must be disabled. My personal recommendation is to disable the DCC Data (pin# 12) on a HD15 monitor extension cable to avoid ruining the DVI-I to HD15 & DVI-D cable splitter or an analog monitor.

It worked!

Now, my Window's Desktop is extended across two separate displays on a card that isn't supposed to support dual computer monitor display. The quality of the display on either monitors hasn't degraded either. In fact, I think the splitter offers better picture quality for the analog display as opposed to the original ATi VGA adapter. So, there you have it. A $50 upgrade to an already expensive card will give you the ability to support multiple monitors on the All-In-Wonder 9700 Pro! So, now all I have left to wonder is, "Why don't they include one of these cables with the card?" In any case, it works and I'm very happy with it. Now the AIW Radeon 9700 Pro can no longer be dinged for not supporting dual display capabilities.

Here's a picture of my display control panel to prove it.
